Bethlehem Bible Church’s visits Oakdale Nursing Home every 1st Saturday of the month at 10:30AM. Join us for visitation, hymn singing, and Gospel preaching with these special folks at Oakdale. There will be a time of preaching the Gospel and special music. All are invited – children especially – the residents love to see children! Something for everyone! Games, food, dancing & great fellowship. Start perfecting your chili recipe & dust off your dancing boots for an all-ages/all levels square dance…it’s going to be a hoe down! We will also have a “ministry fair” as part of the festivities; you can browse the various ministries to see where you can serve…whether you are new to BBC or would like to become involved in a ministry. BBC ladies and friends, come join us on five Wednesday evenings to study the glorious Gospel using ‘A Gospel Primer for Christians.’ This short book is packed with wonderful reflections on the Gospel. We’ll read on our own a specified section, then meet to glean from our reading, pray together, and enjoy some fellowship.
- Wednesdays Oct. 12, Oct. 26, Nov. 9, Nov. 30, and Dec. 14.
- Meetings will be from 6:30-8:00pm.
- We’ll gather at the Abendroths’ home, just a few minutes’ drive from BBC.
You’ll need a copy of the book, so you can purchase it on your own or indicate when signing up that you would like to have a book ordered for you at the group rate. Electronic versions are fine, too, although you may want to write in the book as it can be used as a devotional reading. To be prepared for each time we meet, please have read the following pages of the book.
